I'm very very disappointed in the quality of Miele appliances. I love the look but the products just don't last.
We built a custom home and moved in 3 years ago. Probably had the appliances for 4 years given they sat at the place we purchased for 6 months then sat installed for 6 months prior to moving in. Complicated build.
After two years our Miele cooktop went out. It wouldn't ignite. $1,200 repair. Needed new "brains/board".
I'm now on hold for 35 minutes because our Speed Oven/Microwave no longer works....it's been 3 years. Our old house had cheap builder appliances that were 23 years old. We never replaced them and when we moved they still worked. They were cheap but still worked. They probably cost less than the Sales Taxes I paid on the Miele
I'm 3 years in and two major Miele items don't work. Oh, I forgot, we had a repair on a Dishwasher also. Can't believe I forgot that but then they fixed with the cooktop.
I'm still on hold it's now been 44 some minutes. I'm holding to get someone to repair the oven.
We bought Fridge, Wine Fridge, 2 Dishwashers, Cooktop, Speed Oven/Microwave, Full size Oven, Warming drawer, built in Coffee Maker.
As much as I like the look I'd advise anyone to look for some other products besides Miele.
Still on hold....

Do the new dishwashers stink like my 2019 Lumen? Horrible smell! Only thing worse is Miele customer service. Smells so bad after 2 days you have to hold your breath to put more dishes in!
Miele's so called service says to just run it all the time ...then it won't smell !!!!! Back to Made in the USA for me.

Is there a Miele customer service in…

Is there a Miele customer service in the US? I have tried to contact them multiple times over 4 months since purchasing a new Miele washing machine and to date have not heard back. This is the most terrible experience I have ever experienced in customer service.

The worst appliance purchase ever made…

The worst appliance purchase ever made in my 59 years alive. The plinth filter has activated and turned off the dryer since purchase. Now we cannot get it to run for more than 3 minutes. Don’t buy this it’s junk!!!! By a GE or similar. This $3500 set is crap. I could have spent a fraction of cost but thought Miele was quality. Had two older versions of washer dryer in past homes. Wonderful. The new. Crap

Truly Horrible Experience

I completely agree with the reviews and product quality issues associated with this brand. I should have read researched much more. We have been waiting for an appointment to repair a coffee maker and just received a message saying that they had to cancel our appointment and reschedule it for two more weeks out because the “technician wasn’t going to be in that day.” You can’t make this stuff up...shocking.

Horrible customer service

Received the wrong product, called in let them know, they promised me will ship my product within 2 days, 3 weeks later I didn't received it, called in again, to find out they never shipped it. They received to wrong product back, that never got processed. Shipping department/customer services it's complete a mess. Still I don't know if I will ever receive my order......Please spare your MONEY and TIME dealing with this COMPANY

If it could give negative reviews I…

If it could give negative reviews I would. Miele has the worst...I emphasize worst customer service I have ever experienced. Phone Techs are useless and do NOT know anything about their products. I have a dishwasher and refrigerator and I regret buying every day due to their customer service.

Miele customer and technician service…

Miele customer and technician service is the worst you can think of.
First you don’t get anybody on hold. Second they don’t show up at scheduled appointments after 2 weeks calling every day several times.
Third their technicians in most cases are not knowledgeable enough to figure out what causes failure!
The company’s German headquarter should be more on top of the service!
They are quick in selling but don’t care afterwards!!!

DO NOT BUY MIELE PRODUCTS, here's why

I bought my Miele dishwasher November 2017, top the lineG6625SCU CLST for $1499. It worked well, not great, for three years. I have had to replace the part that works with the circulation pump that cost $450 and three weeks later the circulation pump has seized. To replace that part is $550 plus labor. After spending that much money, I might as well buy a new dishwasher.
Miele has service repair providers (one in my area and I live in a big city) who has only one technician. That service provider is fair to bad. It has taken weeks to get a repair.
I have contacted Miele and spoke with Jahbrea. She didn't seem to know much about the product, couldn't get me a supervisor, and when asked about the dishwasher she just couldn't give me any information. With a high quality product you would expect better customer service. She said a supervisor would get back to me in a few days.
If you are looking for a high quality dishwasher, turn around and look for another brand. They don't stand behind their product. I didn't buy the warranty as the warranties still cost you money in the repairs. I was told by the sales people it's such a good product, I shouldn't have to worry about it breaking down. My suggestion is: Do NOT buy Miele products.

DONT BUY THESE MACHINES

Just an update, all three machines have now broken in under 4 years from new. they are unrepairable and will have to all be replaced. They have ruined my floor by leaking and flooding and it will cost me thousands to fix the damage. My life has been an unrelenting misery due to these machines, my day to day activities revolving around whatever new kink in their workings they had developed, it has genuinely left me suicidal at times. I'm not being hyperbolic at all. Currently sat here with no clean clothes at all, unable to leave the house to buy basic shopping and take the dog out. The very minimum one could ask for in life unreachable thanks to you.
I would also like to add a shout out to who ever incorporated the endless, soul destroying beeping each and every appliance you make has. I live in a one bedroom flat and even my neighbours can hear it, going on and on and on. It also used to wake me up if I tried to use them at night at the end of it's cycle, when it had cycles, making them day time use only. I am disabled and no one needs this, we can feel when the machines stopped because the floors not shaking any more and the pouring of water onto the floor subsides. Get rid of it.
Thank you for ignoring my last review and failing to reach out, apologise or offer help in any way.
DON'T BUY THESE MACHINES

Miele@mobile app and Miele Customer Service are Poor

I purchased a Miele WWF060LW W1 washing machine on Dec 15, 2020 for $1830.67, including installation. Due to delays, the machine was delivered to my home on February 3, 2021. The person who sold me the machine did a short tutorial of the machine. I was advised to read the manual and download the Miele@mobile app from the App Store. When I downloaded the Miele@mobile app to use it, I encountered difficulty in connecting the machine to the app. After running through the setup a number of times, I finally got it connected, not fully understanding why it connected finally and hadn't connected previously. However, the next time I opened the app, the washer was again not connected to the app. I ran through the setup process on the phone numerous time without success. Frustrated, I called Miele USA customer support. I waited online for roughly 30 minutes before speaking to an agent. The agent was unable to diagnose and correct the problem. After roughly 45 minutes of trying to connect the machine to the app without success, the agent became agitated and either hung up or the phone line dropped. I called back, waited another 30 minutes, and got a new agent. I had to go over the problem from start again as the first agent apparently hadn't taken notes. The second agent was also unable to diagnose the problem. The agent asked many, many questions which I felt weren't relevant such as the version of the Miele@mobile app. I told the agent it was the version they put on the app store. When the agent asked me if I had tried pinging the machine, I found myself at the end of my rope trying to setup a new machine and having so much trouble. I had already spent multiple hours reading the manual and trying to determine how to connect the washer to this app. I was frustrated that Miele Customer Support was unable to assist me. Both agents were referencing the manual and referring me to YouTube videos. Being at the end of my rope, I told the second agent to please have someone who knew how to connect the washer to the app to call me. The agent assured me I could expect a call back. That was three days ago and still no call. I called the place where I bought the machine and spoke to the person who sold me the machine. I explained my frustration of having a brand new machine and having so much trouble connecting the machine to the app. The app was able to see the machine, but was unsuccessful in adding the machine to the app. The salesman tried to diagnose the problem, but was also unsuccessful in helping to get the machine added to the app. The salesman asked me to call back Miele and request a service call to have someone come to my home to troubleshoot the problem (which would have been him). When I phoned Miele and asked for this, I was informed by a Miele Customer Support agent that it not possible to authorize a service call to have someone come out to help with this issue. I have not received a call back from the place where I bought the machine. In summary, the Miele Customer Support is very poor. The technical training of the agents is inadequate to service basic problems. They and the sales office are not customer oriented as demonstrated by them not calling me back to assist in setting up this machine. The machine is brand new and I can't get it to work with the app. I am now considering demanding my money back and getting another brand that has better service. The amount paid for this machine is far too much to pay for such poor service.

Miele Customer Service is a Disservice

Miele Customer Service is a Disservice! My HR1124 gas stove is less than two years old and the temperature sensor failed December 27, 2020 rendering the Oven inoperable. I contacted Miele Parts and was told that the part had to come from Germany and it would be the end of January before I received it. It also cost $205.73, an insane price for a heat sensor. I gave them payment information and requested that it ship Priority Mail to my address in the US Virgin Islands. No we won't do that it can only ship UPS. I explained that UPS shipments here cost four times more than Priority Mail and Priority Mail shipments did NOT have to clear customs. No, only UPS. End of January approached so I checked the tracker. Sensor made it to UPS in Louisville, Ky and was being returned to sender due to lack of Commercial Invoice, a necessity for anything, worldwide to clear customs. Back to Parts. Extremely unsympathetic agent said all he could do was try to process the export documents correctly and resend. I again asked for Priority Mail, a four day, no customs, inexpensive method. No was the response. So then I asked to have the part shipped to a daughter in Virginia so she could resend it Priority Mail to me. OK, the part will arrive in Virginia Beach in two weeks. Two weeks? Yes the only way we can ship is UPS ground. I'll pay for second day. No, the only way we can ship is UPS ground. Range that cost as much as a good used car failed in less than two years. Paying 20 times the value of a heat sensor. Mistakes made in shipping at exorbitant cost, no part. Request part shipped 200 miles to Virginia, two weeks. If you purchase a Miele appliance, you have made a mistake. My stove has been down since December 27, 2020 and will likely not be repaired until late February 2021, six to seven weeks, if everything goes right.

Think Again Before Spending the Money on a Miele Fridge. It’s Not Worth It! It’s Junk!

If you’re thinking of buying a Miele refrigerator, DON’T! Read this first. We got off to a bad start when the unit was delivered...late...and the hinge for the upper door that makes it close automatically was missing. The installer said someone would bring it soon and he gave me a number to call. It was not that easy. I was informed by the vendor that they had no means with Miele to get the part and I would have to call to Miele’s corporate office to get it. After hours spent trying to track this down, eventually weeks later, a part arrived. Then I had to arrange a service call.
Might as well have saved the trouble as it never really worked anyway.
From the get go, this was a sub par product. And it was VERY expensive! Not worth the cost!
A freezer drawer got stuck and when I pulled it, not hard, but more than one would normally, the drawer literally cracked and came apart in my hand. The plastic drawers were beyond flimsy, embarrassingly so! Another one has since cracked.
And trying to adjust the temperatures on the unit was a non starter. It simply does not work.
The design is a nice idea, but the materials are laughable. Perhaps I got a lemon, but I would give SERIOUS thought to another product, especially for the price. I have convinced several friends to look elsewhere.
